The Artist has captured the zeitgeist of the Reductionist Movement with this powerful blend of neo-minimalist abstraction and anti-form folkism. By breaking down the common standards of play to their most basic unit (a single square pixel, here exaggerated in dimensions), we clearly get a sense of the overwhelming oppression brought on by the bourgeoisie. We the player are given a seemingly bountiful playfield only to find, after much exploration, that we are prisoners of our environment and must rescind our control. If John Cage was a deafening silence then Dachshund ♥ Techno must be a blinding thing you can't see very well.
